An Eagle Rock woman returned home Saturday morning to find her gardener suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The woman came back to her house in the 1800 block of North Avenue 51 about 10 a.m. to find the wounded man, said to be in his 40s, on the ground, said Officer Sally Madera of the Los Angeles Police Department.
He had been shot three times, Madera said. He was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Detectives were on the scene Saturday trying to determine exactly when the shooting took place and who might be responsible.
