Authorities were searching Sunday for suspects in the shooting death of a man who was found dead in his vehicle on a South Los Angeles street.
The shooting occurred at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday in the 9900 block of Budlong Ave., said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeffrey A. Gordon.
Witnesses said they saw several people approach a vehicle and begin shooting. The killers then walked north on Budlong.
Deputies found a man seated in his vehicle with several gunshot wounds to his upper torso, Gordon said. The victim, whose name was not released, died at the scene.
Anyone with information was asked to contact the sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
