Man’s body found in vehicle parked outside high school in Hollywood

A man was found dead Tuesday morning inside a van parked outside Helen Bernstein High School in Hollywood, police said.
Police received a call about 7:30 a.m. about someone being inside a van for several days in the 1300 block of North Wilton Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The van had been parked near the high school for a couple of weeks, Officer Jane Kim said.
Detectives were headed to the area to investigate. It was not immediately clear how the man died, but there were no signs of foul play, Kim said.
TV footage showed police had surrounded a brown van parked outside the high school.
