Suspected stolen car crashes during police chase, killing passenger

A passenger in a suspected stolen car was killed Monday when it crashed in Arcadia while being pursued by police, authorities said.
The pursuit started at about 11:30 a.m. when police tried to stop vehicle but it instead sped off, said Arcadia police Lt. Tom Cullen.
Not long after, the car crashed into another vehicle near Lower Azusa Road and Arden Drive, killing a passenger in the suspected stolen car, Cullen said.
The conditions of the drivers in the crash weren’t immediately available. No officers were injured in the incident.
Arcadia police remained at the scene Monday afternoon investigating the crash and pursuit.
The names of those involved in the crash were not immediately released.
