Earthquake: 4.3 quake strikes near Lost Hills

A shallow magnitude 4.3 earthquake was reported Thursday evening 14 miles from Lost Hills, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:49 p.m. PST at a depth of 18.6 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 22 miles from Avenal, 22 miles from Corcoran and 29 miles from Wasco.
In the past 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
