Earthquake: 3.4 quake strikes near Greenville

A shallow magnitude 3.4 earthquake was reported Monday morning three miles from Greenville, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:08 a.m. PDT.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 27 miles from Susanville, 35 miles from Magalia and 40 miles from Paradise.
