The Middle This new episode has family members unexpectedly trapped in their own “Twilight Zone”-like stories, with Brick (Atticus Shaffer) narrating an introduction to each. 8 p.m. ABC
The Goldbergs When Adam’s (Sean Giambrone) girlfriend Dana (Natalie Alyn Lind) visits, they plan to spend Halloween together, leaving Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) feeling neglected in this new episode. 8:30 p.m. ABC
Criminal Minds In a Halloween-themed episode the team heads to Detroit, pursuing a series of murders in which the corpses are incorporated into macabre graffiti art. Thomas Gibson, who directs this episode, and Aisha Tyler star. 9 p.m. CBS
Supernatural This new episode follows the brothers (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) on a road trip to fight monsters and demons, told from the point of view of Dean’s vintage Impala. 9 p.m. KTLA
Worst Cooks in America In the season finale mentors Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray take the celebrity finalists to a professional kitchen for a final challenge. 9 p.m. Food
Blackish Dre’s (Anthony Anderson) cousin (Michael Strahan), who tormented Dre as a child, pays a visit in this new Halloween-themed episode. 9:30 p.m. ABC
