Super Bowl Specials On Super Bowl eve, NBC has devoted the evening to the NFL Championship game beginning at 7:30 p.m. with “Super Bowl Zone” a preview of Super Bowl XLIX. That’s followed at 8 p.m. by “Saturday Night Live: NFL Saturday,” featuring NFL and sports related skits from throughout the shows history. With Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealon. Seth Meyers host. At 9 p.m. the annual “NFL Honors “ recognizes the league’s outstanding athletes.

Beautiful & Twisted In this new TV movie based on a true story, Rob Lowe stars as millionaire Miami hotel heir Ben Novack Jr., whose ex-stripper wife (Paz Vega) emerges as the prime suspect in his murder. 8 p.m. Lifetime. The special “Beyond the Headlines: The Novack Murders” follows at 10 p.m. Lifetime
