Nature: In honor of Sir David Attenborough’s 60th anniversary on television, the documentary series air’s a three-part special, “Attenborough’s Life Stories: Life on Camera (8 p.m. KOCE).
Nova: The new episode “Rise of the Drones” profiles drone engineers, and those who operate them for the U.S. military (9 p.m. KOCE).
Ghost Hunters: In this new episode the team investigates reports at Mission San Juan Capistrano (9 p.m. Syfy).
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Russell and Finlay (Ted Danson, Elisabeth Shue) and the team are on the case when a professional tennis player is found dead inside a ball-firing machine shortly after winning a major match. Chris Evert and Lindsay Davenport and Justin Gimelstob guest star as themselves in this new episode (10 p.m. CBS).
Necessary Roughness: In the midseason premiere, Dr. Dani (Callie Thorne) wants to get back to work with her patients, but getting there might require her to become a patient herself. Mehcad Brooks and Scott Cohen star with guest star Danielle Panabaker (10 p.m. USA).
