Usher releases new song exclusively as cereal box prize

For now, there is apparently only one place fans can get Usher’s newest song, “Clueless”: at the bottom of a cereal box.
The single is an exclusive -- not off the pop star’s long-awaited new album “UR” -- which will be available as a prize starting Tuesday exclusively in marked boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios, Billboard reports.

8:56 a.m., Nov. 11: An earlier version of this story stated the song was a single off Usher’s upcoming album “UR.”

Boxes with the special offer will only be sold at Wal-Mart, according to the industry trade.
There won’t be a CD at the bottom of the box, but rather a download code for the single.
The release idea is not completely random. After all, Usher did dance with Buzz the Bee this fall in a Honey Nut Cheerios commercial.
Attempts to reach reps for Usher and Wal-Mart for additional comment were thus far unsuccessful.
