Kendrick Lamar and LCD Soundsystem to headline FYF Fest 2016

This year’s FYF Fest will feature a Grammy favorite and a Coachella headliner atop its bill.
Kendrick Lamar and LCD Soundsystem will headline the festival, which again hits Exposition Park near downtown Los Angeles on Aug. 27-28. They’re two of the highest-profile acts the festival has booked yet, following last year’s pairing of Morrissey and a last-minute Kanye West, who pinch-hit for Frank Ocean.

The festival also booked several other notable and rare sets. Grace Jones will make her only West Coast festival appearance; the Oscar-nominated Anohni will debut her live show in L.A., and emo staple Saves the Day will perform its 2001 album “Stay What You Are.”
Tame Impala, Grimes, Air and Beach House are among the other high-profile acts slated to appear. The festival will also boast a sizable hip-hop lineup (Vince Staples, Young Thug and Rae Sremmurd, among them) and dance music (Moby, Andy Stott, the Black Madonna and Todd Terje and the Olsens).
Tickets range from $125 for single-day passes to $199 for weekend-long passes, with VIP tickets going for $339. They go on sale at noon Friday.
