KCRW World Festival at Hollywood Bowl

Now in its 13th year, the KCRW World Festival series showcases big names in international music alongside upstarts from across the planet. Allan Pineda Lindo Jr., a.k.a. Apl.de.ap from the Black Eyed Peas, performs at the Bowl’s first night dedicated to original Philippine music. He was born in the Philippines — his mother was Filipino, his father an African American serviceman — but grew up in Los Feliz. He’s joined by fellow members of the Black Eyed Peas will.i.am & Taboo, Nicole Scherzinger, Martin Nievera, Sandwich and more. Vanessa Hudgens and Lou Diamond Philips host. Hollywood Bowl, 2301 N.
