OK, and I'm also tempted to talk about: MTV's "College Life"

But I can defend it. MTV went and gave a bunch of freshmen at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, their own cameras to record their own drama, i.e. the hookups, breakups, homesickness, an occasional cram session. It’s narcissistic, a little fake and, in a way, a perfect ender for a Monday-night lineup that begins with “Gossip Girl” and “The Hills.” (Monday)   (Karl Mondon / Associated Press)
