The television networks unveiled their fall lineups for advertisers in New York this week. For many, it brought the exciting rush of seeing your blood, sweat and tears finally given a solid spot on the schedule. For others, like “My Name Is Earl” creator Greg Garcia, right, the week brought the news that “Earl” would not be back. Garcia seemed OK with the bad news, saying, “It’s hard to be too upset about being thrown off the Titanic.” Guess you won’t be seeing Garcia’s next series on NBC. (Lawrence K. Ho / Los Angeles Times)
