TV ratings: ‘America’s Got Talent’ wins, ‘Capture’ debuts low

“America’s Got Talent” won Tuesday night again in ratings and viewership. As another round of contestants vied for semifinal spots, the show dipped about 4% in the key 18-49 demographic from the contest’s first live broadcast last week.

“Talent’s” 18-49 rating for the two-hour broadcast Tuesday was 2.7, and average viewership was 9.7 million, according to preliminary numbers from Nielsen. A ratings point equals roughly 1.3 million viewers.

NBC won in ratings with a 2.1 in 18-49.

Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” which featured Anna Kendrick as a guest judge, scored a 1.4, flat with last week.

ABC’s “Extreme Weight Loss” also held steady in the key demo with a 1.1 rating.

Two back-to-back episodes of “Whose Line is it Anyway,” the CW reboot of a decade-old ABC improv comedy show, fell from last week.

CW followed “Whose Line” with “Capture,” a reality competition series that combines elements of “The Hunger Games” and hide-and-go-seek. The series debuted with a low 0.4 rating in 18-49.

CBS was all in repeats.
