Jason Derulo is looking to make a move over on the Eastern Seaboard. The singer-songwriter, who put down roots in Tarzana last year, has listed his 13,000-square-foot house in Coconut Creek, Fla., for sale at $2.9 million.
The Mediterranean-style home on a natural preserve area sits behind a gated entrance across from the Adios Golf Club. Built in 2009 and since updated, the two-story home features marble floors, wrought iron finishes and raised ceilings.
Among living spaces is a game room, an office, an updated kitchen and seven bathrooms. Second-floor balconies look down on the formal living room.
The guest house has been outfitted with separate recording and dance studios, and a pair of two-car garages flank the entrance to the home. Elsewhere on the grounds is a swimming pool with a raised spa.
He bought the house in late 2012 for $1.75 million, records show.
Tim Elmes of Coldwell Banker is the listing agent.
Derulo, 25, has released four studio albums, the latest of which, “Everything Is 4,” debuted this month. Among his top singles are “Wiggle,” “Talk Dirty” and “Want to Want Me.”
Derulo last November paid $3 million for a gated compound in Tarzana. Drawing inspiration from castle-like design, the turreted property features three structures totaling about 11,000 square feet, a lighted sports court and a 75-foot swimming pool on about an acre.
