Elvis lover? Biker bride? Quirky ways to tie the knot for less in Las Vegas
- Share via
Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, but it can easily become one of the most expensive.
Have no fear, this is Vegas. You’ve come to the right place. With countless chapels and wedding packages to choose from, a memorable wedding in Vegas doesn’t have to break the bank. Here are some of the most economical (and off-the-wall) ways to tie the knot in the marriage capital of the world.
Weddings delivered direct to you
$129
Prevent the occasional runaway bride or groom by bringing the wedding to you with the Las Vegas Wedding Wagon. It’s a bit like ordering out for dinner, except instead of a pizza and wings you get a wedding officiant, photographer and witness delivered to the touristy or non-touristy location of your choice.
Drive-through weddings
$99 and up
At the Little White Wedding Chapel’s drive-through tunnel of love, you can get hitched in an Elvis-inspired pink Cadillac, saving you time and money for the honeymoon or (since you like the drive-through) a McDonald’s lunch.
Elvis wedding
$199 and up
Get married by Elvis (well, a reasonable facsimile) at the Graceland Wedding Chapel. He’ll walk the bride down the aisle (watch out grooms, he’s a hound dog), sing two songs and even throw in a copy of his wedding certificate to Priscilla.
Traditional wedding
$87 and up
If you’re not one for crazy schemes (apart from the whole getting married in Vegas thing), you can opt for a more traditional wedding ceremony at a Las Vegas wedding chapel like Wee Kirk o’ the Heather, which is one of the oldest wedding chapels in Las Vegas, operating since 1940. Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel has a variety of traditional packages, including an outdoor gazebo package, for under $300.
Hog heaven
$399 and up
Tie the knot at the first Harley Davidson dealership on the Las Vegas Strip with seating for 45 guests, professional photography and an orange Harley Davidson runner for the biker brides’ walk down the aisle.
A wedding in the clouds
From $199
Take the plunge atop the tallest observation tower west of the Mississippi, the Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower. Say “I do” while enjoying awesome views of the city on the indoor or outdoor observation deck. The package includes a bottle of bubbly and free access to the tower. If you really feel like taking the plunge, you can follow your vows by jumping off the tower on SkyJump Las Vegas (price not included).
Downtown dreaming
$129
Declare your eternal love at the Fremont Street Experience under the world’s largest video screen with a wedding from Shalimar Wedding Chapel. You’ll receive flowers, a boutonniere, photos and sedan transportation. And just think about how awesome your wedding photo album will be if you pose for photos with the panhandling Sponge Bob or Avengers.
