Hipsters rejoice: Commonwealth, a pre-Prohibition-style pub with handcrafted cocktails to match, has opened on Fremont Street. The 6,000-square-foot lounge is outfitted with exposed brick, dark woods and a 20-foot bar adorned with an albino peacock sculpture commissioned by local artist Miguel Rodriguez. A rooftop patio hosts live music and a secret entrance leads to an intimate speakeasy with room for 28. The drink menu features seasonal cocktails and beers, plus a lineup of punch bowls meant to be shared.
