Tropicana Las Vegas

What can $200 million buy you? Turns out a lot — even in Vegas. Just check out the head-turning 57-year-old Tropicana. Gone is the décor of yesteryear; in its place is a cool, contemporary South Beach vibe. The redesign has touched everything, from the rooms and suites to the casino floor, and transformed the theater, which was once home to the iconic Folies Bergère and now to “Mamma Mia!” Yes, the Tropicana has entered the 21st century — but if you stop a minute, you might see a ghost or two of Vegas past.
