Twins rout the White Sox, 20-1

Minnesota 20, at Chicago 1: Joe Mauer hit a grand slam, two doubles and drove in a career-high six runs as the Twins routed the White Sox. Michael Cuddyer, Joe Crede and Matt Tolbert also homered for the Twins.
at Tampa Bay 6, Oakland 5: The Rays scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to win. Ben Zobrist tied the score with a two-run homer and Carl Crawford won it with an RBI single.
Cleveland 8, at Kansas City 3: Victor Martinez drove in three runs and the Indians got past Zack Greinke by getting to the Royals’ bullpen. Greinke went six innings, gave up a season-high eight hits and left with a 3-2 lead.
at Detroit 4, Texas 3: Miguel Cabrera hit a go-ahead single in the eighth inning and the Tigers won their sixth in a row.
at New York 7, Baltimore 4: Yankees starter Joba Chamberlain left the game because of a leg injury in the first inning. Adam Jones’ one-out liner in the first hit Chamberlain just above his right knee, forcing him out of the game. X-rays were negative.
at Boston 5, Toronto 1: Jason Bay set a Red Sox record with his 11th straight homer with runners on base as Boston completed a three-game sweep.
Angels 3, at Seattle 0: Juan Rivera, Gary Matthews Jr. and Howie Kendrick homered for the Angels.
