Rockies, Mets split doubleheader

at New York 7-2, Colorado 0-4: Jorge De La Rosa set a franchise record by winning his seventh consecutive start and the Rockies earned a split in a day-night doubleheader. The Mets won the opener behind Johan Santana, who struck out eight in seven sharp innings.
at Chicago 12, Houston 3: Kevin Hart won his third straight start and Jake Fox and Milton Bradley hit consecutive home runs for the Cubs.
Atlanta 6, at Florida 3 (10): Brian McCann hit a three-run home run in the 10th inning for the Braves.
at Milwaukee 7, Washington 3: Yovani Gallardo struck out 11 in seven innings and Mike Cameron slid under catcher Wil Nieves’ tag for the go-ahead run in the seventh for the Brewers.
San Diego 7, at Cincinnati 4: Rookie Will Venable hit a three-run homer and had four hits to help Tim Stauffer earn his first win in almost three years.
