The countdown is finally winding down for fans of “The Nine” who were left dangling without closure when the 2007 ABC drama was abruptly yanked off the air because of low ratings. The four last previously unaired episodes of the series will be shown on DirecTV’s The 101 Network starting July 27 at 10 p.m.
The drama revolved around nine people who forge a common bond when they survive a 52-hour hostage standoff during a bank robbery. Each episode begins with a flashback that reveals another 10 minutes of the robbery and uncovers why and how these strangers remain linked to each other. The series, starring Tim Daly, Chi McBride and Kim Raver, returned to DirecTV in May.
