Spurs handle Pacers easily

at San Antonio 99, Indiana 81: Tim Duncan scored 27 points and Manu Ginobili had 26 before the Spurs sat their stars early in a lopsided victory. Tony Parker scored 13 points for San Antonio, which, after a 2-5 start, ended the first half of the season in the familiar position of first in the Southwest Division. The Spurs have won three in a row and eight of 10.
at Utah 112, Minnesota 107: Mehmet Okur scored 22 points and made consecutive late three-point shots to lift the Jazz to its seventh consecutive home victory. Utah’s Andrei Kirilenko left the game because of an inflamed right ankle with 6:43 remaining in the second quarter and did not return.
Atlanta 105, at Chicago 102: Mike Bibby scored nine of his season-high 31 points in the final five minutes and the Hawks completed a three-game sweep of the Bulls. Although the Hawks took a beating on the boards, getting outrebounded, 48-34, they still managed to hand the Bulls their third consecutive loss.
at Denver 118, Sacramento 99: Linas Kleiza scored 27 points and the Nuggets outscored the Kings, 71-44, over the second and third quarters to pull away.
