L.A. Unified layoffs: A briefing item in Thursday’s California section about potential layoffs in the Los Angeles Unified School District reported that nearly 6,000 administrators might receive layoff notices. In fact, 6,000 non-teaching employees, including administrators, janitors and others, might receive layoff notices.
