Tuesday through Thursday: White Sox at Chicago
Friday through Aug. 9: Rangers at Angel Stadium
It is one of the great joys of living in a two-team market, the chance to see an L.A. doubleheader: one game at Angel Stadium and one game at Dodger Stadium, all in the same day. Your last chance this season comes Saturday, when the Angels play a 1 p.m. game against the Texas Rangers. The Rangers haven’t advanced to the playoffs in 10 years, but they have remained stubbornly close to the Angels in the American League West, in large part because the Rangers are 7-2 against the Angels this season. Sean O’Sullivan, 21, who pitched a no-hitter in his last start at triple-A Salt Lake, is scheduled to be recalled to start Saturday’s game for the Angels. So enjoy the afternoon with the Angels, then hop in the car and head north on Interstate 5, but not too fast. . . .
