From Times Wire Reports
Gunmen shot at the U.S. Consulate in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey and threw a grenade that did not explode. No one was injured.
Six bullet casings from a pistol were found at the scene.
A police spokeswoman said the small-caliber ammunition and the unexploded grenade could be a sign the attack was carried out by amateurs or people angry at the United States for not being able to cross the border.
