Prime bedtime

Scott Collins’ “Channel Island” column remains one of the best reasons to read the L.A. Times, but I think he’s all wrong about why 10 p.m. is no longer an attractive slot for TV series [“10 p.m. Is Past Its Prime Time for Viewers,” Oct. 27].
Viewers who live on the West Coast have long commutes and have to get up early. I think the problem is simply this: 10 p.m. is our bedtime!
