at Toronto 96, Miami 54: The Raptors held the Heat to the third-lowest point total in the shot-clock era. Miami, with only 26 halftime points, was only five off the NBA record-low since the shot clock was introduced in the 1954-55 season, Chicago’s 49-point effort against the Heat in April 1999.

at New Orleans 90, Houston 69: Former Rockets swingman Bonzi Wells helped the Hornets hand Houston its second straight loss after a 22-game winning streak, scoring 20 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter. The Rockets also had their 12-game winning streak on the road ended.

at Cleveland 89, Detroit 73: LeBron James scored 30 points and the Pistons were held to 63 fewer points than they scored in a 136-120 win over Denver on Tuesday. It was Detroit’s first visit to Cleveland since being eliminated in Game 6 of last season’s Eastern Conference finals.

Phoenix 110, at Seattle 98: Amare Stoudemire scored 26 points and Steve Nash added 23 in the Suns’ sixth straight victory, pulling them within half a game of New Orleans and the idle Lakers for the best record in the Western Conference. Phoenix, however, lost Raja Bell to a sprained ankle.

Washington 87, at Orlando 86: Antawn Jamison had 31 points and 11 rebounds and the Wizards overcame Hedo Turkoglu’s career-high 39 points by shutting down Dwight Howard (three points, 14 rebounds). Turkoglu’s driving layup was short at the buzzer.

at Indiana 102, Charlotte 95: Flip Murray scored 22 points and Shawne Williams had 14 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter as the Pacers won their second in a row while handing the Bobcats their fifth straight loss. Indiana played without leading scorer Danny Granger (sprained wrist).

at New Jersey 125, Atlanta 117: Vince Carter had a season-high 39 points and 10 assists and the Nets moved into a tie with the Hawks for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. Richard Jefferson added 33 points and Devin Harris had a career-high 26 points and nine assists.

at Minnesota 98, Memphis 94: Al Jefferson scored 22 of his 29 points in the second half to help the Timberwolves erase a 14-point deficit. Ryan Gomes made two free throws and then a jumper with 52.8 seconds left to help seal it and hand the Grizzlies their 18th straight road loss.

at Philadelphia 115, Denver 113: Spoiling Allen Iverson’s return to Philadelphia, Samuel Dalembert scored the decisive basket with 32.9 seconds remaining for the 76ers, who improved to 16-4 in their last 20 games. Iverson, traded to Denver in December 2006, led all scorers with 32 points.

Golden State 116, at Clippers 100: The Warriors moved 2 1/2 games ahead of the Nuggets for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot.
