Vroman’s cited as top bookshop

Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena has been chosen by Publishers Weekly as Bookseller of the Year 2008. The award goes to an innovative store that excels in the business as well as the community side of bookselling.
Last year’s winner was Changing Hands in Tempe, Ariz.
Vroman’s, founded in 1894, will be honored at a ceremony at BookExpo America, to be held in May in Los Angeles.
