Thanks for your nice article on Puerto Penasco, Mexico [“The Battle of the Beaches,” Feb. 24], but I just can’t believe it’s the same place where I used to go diving in the early 1960s. The town had one “resort” -- a little 1950s-style motel with a patio bar. You didn’t mention the atmospheric heat on the beach, beginning in March. It was one of the single hottest places I have ever been. You say this is now a resort destination?
