at Vancouver 3, St. Louis 2: Daniel Sedin scored in the shootout to cap the Canucks’ first third-period comeback of the season and end a seven-game winless streak. Mattias Ohlund tied it 1:46 into the third.
at Toronto 3, at Washington 2: Mats Sundin scored with 29 seconds left and Vesa Toskala made 30 saves to lift the Maple Leafs. Alexander Ovechkin got his league-best 39th goal for the Capitals.
Detroit 2, at Ducks 1: Dominik Hasek made 24 saves, and the Red Wings improved to 9-1 on the road in their last 10 games.
