Execution team: A news brief in Monday’s Section A about papers filed in U.S. District Court in Kansas City by lawyers for five Missouri death row inmates said that the plaintiffs were seeking the identities of members of the inmates’ execution team. In the filings, the plaintiffs’ lawyers argue that they should be allowed to depose execution team members to explore their competence, but the identities of the execution team members would be protected.
