Man is arrested in shooting

Police on Thursday morning arrested a man in connection with the shooting Wednesday night of the man’s brother, authorities said.
Police arrested Adel Hakim, 47, of Beverly Hills about midnight in connection with the shooting of 50-year-old Alfred Hakim in the hallway of an apartment complex in the 400 block of North Palm Drive, according to Beverly Hills police.
Police said Alfred Hakim was in critical condition at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
