FOOD GONE MOBILE

Innovative Dining Group -- the folks who brought you Sushi Roku, Katana and Robata Bar -- lives up to its name Friday with its most inventive endeavor to date: the price-conscious conveyor-belt sushi joint Luckyfish. IDG partner Lee Maen says the company invented a radio-frequency chip that is embedded in each plate and scanned when the plate is put onto the 38-foot conveyor belt (which holds up to 250 plates). The chip calculates the amount of time a piece of raw fish spends in orbit; after an hour a switch flips and, Maen says, the offending dish is “derailed in a sexy manner.” 338 N.
