MGM Mirage ends I-15 project

MGM Mirage Inc. has ended a partnership with a realty development company on a housing and casino project on about 100 acres near Interstate 15 in Jean, Nev., about 30 miles southwest of Las Vegas near the California border.
A company spokesman said it wasn’t the right time for the project with the current state of the U.S. economy.
