Island bummer

We were disappointed to see The Times’ extensive section on the beauty of a Hawaiian vacation [April 6] soon after two airlines that fly to Hawaii went under, leaving thousands of travelers stranded with no warning, some of our dear friends included.
The timing was a good rub of salt into the wounds.
