The power of one

Re “He helped clear the fog of war,” Column One, Sept. 13
This article was a great lesson on the power of one. And to see that individuality working in a bureaucratic organization like the armed forces says so much, not only for, in this case, the Air Force but for our system, in which one person with drive and determination can take a valuable idea to its maximum good.
In a world where success is measured by fame and money, it is such a lesson to see success for the sake of all the lives it has saved and the victory it contributes to, because one man felt it his duty to persevere.
