Re “Untreated Olive View patient dies,” Oct. 31
In 1997, I was treated for a heart attack in the emergency room at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, and I have been going there ever since. During my heart attack and follow-up care, I have dealt with doctors, nurses, pharmacists and others on Olive View’s medical staff who constantly display the highest degree of concern, respect and professionalism. Olive View is having a few problems that could happen at any major U.S. medical facility. Don’t rush to any conclusions. I still believe that this is a great hospital.
