“Jersey Boys,” the hit jukebox show by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice that won last year’s Tony Award for best musical, tells the story of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons -- the blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time (“Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man”). With music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo. Des McAnuff, the show’s Tony Award-winning director who oversaw the birth of the musical at the La Jolla Playhouse, will direct this nationally touring production.
