French honor: Los Angeles art dealer Louis Stern has been named a knight of the French government’s Legion of Honor in recognition of his efforts to further knowledge and appreciation of French culture through his gallery program and civic affiliations. Pierre Vimont, France’s ambassador to the U.S., presented the award Sunday at the French consulate in Beverly Hills.
