Six people were injured in a shooting at a nightclub early Monday, authorities said.
Officers were called just before 1 a.m. to Tremors nightclub at 1329 University Ave., where they found five men, including a nightclub security guard, with nonfatal gunshot wounds, said Riverside police spokesman Steven Frasher. A sixth man who was “grazed” by a bullet later went to a San Bernardino hospital, he said.
The five men, who were taken to local hospitals, include two San Bernardino residents, 20 and 25 years old; a 20-year-old Compton man; a 22-year-old Highland man and a 25-year-old man whose residence is not yet known, Frasher said.
The suspect, who has not been identified, fled the parking lot, Frasher said.
