SAIC profit up on security products

SAIC Inc. said third-quarter earnings increased 7.1% on higher sales of border-security products.
Net income rose to $105 million, or 25 cents a share, from $98 million, or 28 cents, a year earlier, the San Diego-based defense contractor said. Per-share earnings declined because there were more shares outstanding. Revenue rose 14% to $2.37 billion.
