Construction will begin early next year on a $60-million residential and retail complex in West Los Angeles, the developers said.
The five-story project will include 63 apartments or condominiums atop stores at the northeast corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Federal Avenue, said the builders, Beverly Hills-based Maxxam Enterprises and Los Angeles-based Wiseman Development.
The complex is expected to be completed by mid-2009.
