Dancer Flatley wins judgment

“Lord of the Dance” star Michael Flatley was awarded $11 million in a default judgment against a woman who accused him of sexual assault and then allegedly tried to extort money from him, his attorney said Monday.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael L. Stern, who heard testimony from Flatley on Friday, is expected to sign the judgment against Tyna Marie Robertson later this week, according to the dancer’s lawyer, Ricardo P. Cestero, who said that whatever amount of the award Flatley actually receives from Robertson will be donated to charity.
Flatley, now 49, claimed he and Robertson had consensual sex in his hotel suite. Flatley’s allegations against Robertson were civil extortion, fraud and defamation.
