127 Feared Dead After Ferry Sinks

Fishermen searched the seas off Cameroon for 127 people feared dead after a ferry sank.
The boat was bound for Gabon from a Nigerian town near Cameroon’s border. Word of the accident came when fishermen found bodies off Cameroon, said a top regional official.
He cited survivors as saying that 150 people from Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast were on board and that 23 were rescued. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
