AN 80-year-old mural by Charles Knight is restored for “Evolving Planet,” a permanent exhibit that was to have opened Friday at the Field Museum in Chicago. Covering 4 billion years of evolution, it presents more than 1,000 specimens, including dinosaurs; 150 interactive displays; and a simulated 300-million-year-old forest.
