The special, which runs through Sept. 10, also partly reimburses guests for their gas or airfare: A $30 check will be mailed after their stay.
Travelers must book a two-night minimum stay; they receive a $30 per night dining certificate that is redeemable at several Costa Mesa restaurants.
Rates at the Wyndham start at $109 per night; weekday rates may be higher.
