Two Teens Surrender in Homeless Man’s Death

Two South Florida teens suspected in the beatings last week of three homeless men turned themselves in to police, authorities in Fort Lauderdale said.
Family lawyers negotiated the surrender of Brian Hooks, 18, and Thomas S. Daugherty, 17.
The two were in custody pending charges in the death of one of the men and the beating of another, said Capt. Michael Gregory of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
