“THE clear blue eyes ... have gone rheumy. The cheeks sag. The skin no longer gleams.” Lovely descriptive writing about Peter O’Toole’s poor face [“I Am Human. All Too Bloody Human.” Dec. 3]. But please allow me to write a profile of reporter Rachel Abramowitz when she turns 74.

I love his movies, his characters -- one of my favorite memories was going to London way back in 1971 and going through Westminster Abbey -- as we were walking along looking at the various sarcophagi -- lo and behold, there was Henry II looking exactly like Peter O’Toole!
