Desalination lawsuit dismissed

A superior court judge on Monday rejected a lawsuit filed by environmental groups challenging Huntington Beach’s approval of the environmental impact report for the proposed Poseidon desalination plant. The facility, whose cost is estimated at $250 million, still needs permits from state agencies before construction can begin at the AES power plant site.
